Installation Safety Studies

A client was developing a new oil and gas field in the UKCS. RJE Risk Consultants was commissioned at the FEED stage to perform all key safety studies to comply with UK health and safety regulatory demands, in particular the Safety Case regulations. The following studies were performed.

- HAZID facilitation 

- Bowtie workshop facilitation and production

- FERA (Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment)

- EERA (Escape and Evacuation, Rescue Assessment)

- Dropped Object Assessment

- Ship Collision Analysis

- QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment)

- Performance Standard Production

- Design ALARP justifications

- Safety Case Contribution to the MAH assessment 

 

RJE Risk Consultants continued to provide support in the detailed engineering and construction phases, updating study reports and providing further safety case support. The installation achieved first oil on schedule.
